ITINERARY SUMMARY
Day 1 Your guide will collect you this morning and you leave Nairobi to head north, past Mount Kenya and on by road to Samburu – home of elephants, lion, abundant game and the Samburu people.
Day 2 A full day exploring Samburu Game Reserve
Day 3 Depart early for the 5 hour drive through dramatic semi-desert scenery, overnight at Sabuk Lodge.
Day 4 Set off in the cool, early morning air for a walk or a game drive, during the heat of the day cool off in a natural swimming hole.
Day 5 An adventure begins as you set out on your overnight camel safari, escorted by your guide and Samburu warriors who will share their bush craft at close quarters.
Day 6 Driving south through the Great Rift Valley stop for a night at Lake Nakuru where you have an excellent chance of seeing rhinos and the millions of flamingo that tint the lake a pink colour.
Day 7 An early morning drive through the tea growing zones of Kericho brings you into the Masai Mara where you stay 3 nights at a perfect bush camp.
Day 8 & 9 Two full days of game viewing in the Masai Mara.
Day 10 Transfer to the Airstrip for your flight to Nairobi where you will be transferred either to your hotel or the International Airport.
