Kenya ranks as the 17th largest coffee producer on the planet Earth. The uniqueness of the coffee industry lies in the milling, marketing and auctioning, something that is done in the cooperative way since there are small farms which combined together, yield high coffee.
Over 6 million Kenyans are employed in the coffee industry,

The top growing regions are High plateaus in Mount Kenya, then the Aberdare Range, Nyanza, Bungoma. Nakuru, Kisii, Kericho and so much more. Its the flavor and very pleasant aroma that keeps the coffee of Kenya ranking highly.

While it may be known as a genre of Kenya coffee, Kenya AA is actually a classification of coffee grown in Kenya. All Kenyan coffee is graded after it is has been milled. Grades are assigned based on the screen size of the bean. Beans with a screen size of 17 or 18 (17/64 or 18/64 of an inch) are assigned the grade AA, generally the largest bean. While the large bean size is considered by many to be a sign of quality, it is important to note that it is only one of many factors in determining high quality coffee.
