Amboseli serena Lodge-Amboseli:
Amboseli serena Lodge, one of Africa’s lodges is besides a copse of very huge Acacia trees and a gently flowing natural spring of Africa’s highest mountain, Kilimanjaro and in its shadow. The scenery is so pretty, Kilimanjaro being 6,000m high with snow capped peaks presiding over the landscape.

All over Amboseli serena lodge roam the big game that has made East Africa legendary., lions, buffalos, elephants, cheetahs, giraffes, baboons, gazelles and wildbeests. Amboseli National park is a very beautiful place to view elephants. And without even leaving the lodge, one can encounter very many species of wetland and migratory birds known as the immediate area.

The property is in a very good harmony with its surroundings, influenced by native architecture. Distinctive African design African motifs inspire the interiors. Every room is individually appointed with authentic Africana and murals painted by a renowned local artist.

Accommodation at Amboseli serena lodge.

§ The lodge has 96 travellers’ rooms, every room being self-contained. Specifically, the lodge has 86 two twin beds, 10 one twin beds and 17 pairs of separate rooms that interconnect.
§ Overlooking the saltlick and floodlit water hole, the open-air dinning room serves travellers very expensive and impressive international manus, together with perfect African dishes where everybody serves him/herself outside.
§ There is a large outdoor swimming pool with fresh towels and pool beds.
§ Overlooking the sparkling swimming pool and admirable landscape gardens, the verandah also gives travellers unsusual game viewing.
§ Travellers can be treated to a private mountain High breakfast with only a day’s advance notice.
Even an afternoon tea in this same place can be organized.
§ Dining tables overlook a floodlit waterhole where the big game gather; the vast acacia thorn trees spread over the tables.
§ There are guided nature/bird walks through the lodge grounds offered by the resident naturalist everyday.
§ There is a talk on a give aspect of the Maasai culture, followed by tribal dances, everyday from 2:30pm to 3:30pm.
§ There are Maasai dance performances, music and entertainment in the evenings.
§ Everyday, talks giving useful information together with slide presentations on indigenous culture is given by the resident naturalist.
§ Within the grounds of Amboseli serena, there is a fully air-conditioned conference room without obstructed views of Kilimanjaro mountain. The room can accommodate 80 people and it favours meetings, seminars or small banquets.
§ Every traveller is called upon to plant a tree as part of the Amboseli Reforestation Program.

§ Communication services available through telephone, fax and radio.
§ Secretarial services are offered when requested for.
§ There is a nurse on duty 24 hours.
§ Laundry/pressing services everyday.
§ With enough notice, baby-sitting can always be organized.
§ There is early supper for children if it is requested for.
§ Lunch boxes, fruits, flowers and celebration cakes can be ordered.
§ There are central safety deposit services at the reception desk.
§ Power is 240 volts in the rooms.
§ A travellers’ library is open fro 10:00am to 4:00pm and with famous books about Africa.
