Tusk camp:
Tusk camp is a self-service lodge found at the Eastern slopes of Aberdares, at 2,300m above sea level, in a clearing a midst the forest.

The place has four wooden double bandas, carrying a capacity of eight people. It must not be booked half way. Kenya Safari Rooms are facilitated with beds and mattresses and with lit kerosene lamps.

The room where people sit together has an open fire and wood is offered, and from the verandah you can enjoy spots of Aberdare’s forest  Kenya Tours and Kenya mountain. The laundry room has a shower with both hot and cold water, together with a flush toilet.

Apparently, there is an extra pit latrine that provides very impressive views, definitely outward. The place also has a firewood cooker.

Animals, particularly buffalo and elephant, always graze at the clearing in front of the bandas.
